Marissa has an MA from Portland State University in teaching ESL and taught for over 25 years. She enjoys fine arts, hiking, kayaking, contra dancing, and traveling the world.

Neel graduated from University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. In addition to his other activities he runs a STEM non-profit in Corvallis called siliconbox.org.
With a background in anthropology, Cat loves learning through travel. New to Oregon, she enjoys exploring the pacific coast, backpacking, reading, and hanging out with her cats! She also fosters dogs and kittens with Heartland Humane Society.
Linda has always believed that being a student of other cultures and customs is one of the truest paths to understanding ourselves.

Elena reinvents herself as an apprentice, as well as a teacher of matters related to the energy of individual expression and collective consciousness.
Dee has been a part of the CMLC community as a volunteer since its beginning. She has always been fascinated by different cultures and connecting with people
With a multicultural background, Qinghua enjoys connecting research with practice, teaching Chinese to children, promoting equity, and sharing Chinese culture with the community.
Cynthia has deep interests in language, culture, education, social justice and volunteering, as well as science and engineering. She grew-up in Corvallis, going to the (old, yellow house) CMLC while her mom learned English.
Originally from the Pacific Coast of Russia, Svetlana loves living in Corvallis. She brings in her experience in community engagement, education, and nonprofit management.
