Beginner English Class

A class for new English speakers. Focus on speaking, reading and listening skills, with an emphasis on vocabulary and introductory conversation.

Paper Mache Character Masks

Make a paper mache mask based on your favorite character from a book, story, or comic! We will use recycled paper, cardboard, bottles, paint, and more, to build three-dimensional masks and bring to life the characters we love. For kids ages 6-13.

Masala Vada: A South Indian Cooking Workshop

Masala Vada, also known as chana dal vada and paruppu vadai, is a crispy and flavorful dish in South India. It’s made from dal, onions, and spices and served for teatime, on Diwali and important occasions, and for guests and friends. Come cook and enjoy masala vada together!

Cook and Eat Lahmacun: Turkish Pizza

Cook a favorite Turkish dish together and eat the food we prepare! Lahmacun is a thin, crispy flatbread cooked with peppers, tomatos, and fresh herbs and spices. Lunch will contain meat and wheat, and be a bit spicy!

How to Get a Job in the USA
