“What does belonging mean to you?”Join us for a community discussion with John Noltner, an award-winning photographer, writer and peace activist. Community members will be able to contribute their voice to a collection of writings and photographs about Belonging, should they want to. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Spring Pastry Fundraiser

Come and enjoy this culinary experience, we will teach baking techniques and delicious recipes for you to share with the people you love.

Details:
April 5th, 3pm – 6pm
At the CMLC, 2638 NW Jackson Ave, Corvallis

 
In this class you will learn 2 to 3 baking recipes. One of these will be butter cookies with different colors of frosting. Another preparation is be green, yellow or orange cornstarch alfajores with dulce de leche and coconut. The last recipe we will cook is blueberry Kuchen.

Each participant will have the opportunity to take home their preparations

Registration Fee: $30 per person
Maximum 10 students


Turkish Cooking Event and FUNDRAISER

Long time CMLC volunteer Hanife Karacan Bayram and Rotary Youth Exchange participant Zeynep Seçer invite you to join their Turkish Cooking Event and Fundraiser. Raised funds will support Turkey earthquake relief efforts and sponsoring organizations Rotary Youth Exchange and the CMLC.

Mundus Imginalis –  Collective Muralism Workshop

Children participate in a collective muralism workshop aimed at exploring our personal narratives and linking them into the communal story.

The class will be taught in English and Spanish.
Ages 7-18 welcome.
Ages 6 and under are welcome with parental supervision.

International Potluck 
and a Movie Night

Bring a dinner dish to share and we’ll make popcorn for the movie! After the potluck we will have a screening of Dancing in Jaffa, it’s 1 hour 26 minutes long documentary about a ballroom dance teacher returning to his home in Israel to teach Palestinian and Jewish kids to dance together.
